2026 SKUD 18 INTERNATIONAL MATCH RACE CHALLENGE
About this event
Sailability Auckland proudly presents the BURNSCO 2026 SKUD 18 INTERNATIONAL MATCH RACE CHALLENGE — a high-octane sailing showdown, bringing the world’s best sailors with disabilities together to battle it out on the iconic Waitematā Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand.
Perfect timing. Taking place in the days immediately after SailGP Auckland 2026. Come to the City of Sails, take in the SailGP event, and then compete on the same racecourse.
Expect tight, tactical match racing, split-second decisions, and close finishes as crews push the limits in the high-performance SKUD 18 class.
This isn’t just a sporting event — it’s a celebration of inclusion, excellence, and the spirit of sailing. It’s a chance for competitors to experience world-class competition and be part of a global movement advocating for the reinstatement of sailing to the Paralympic Games at Brisbane 2032.
